The Deeside Snug is surrounded by beautiful countryside and many neighbouring villages which provides the perfect opportunity to explore. There are plenty of outdoor activities to choose from, an abundance of hills to climb, relaxing walks along the river, nearby forests and lochs and lots of quaint cafes, rustic pubs and relaxing restaurants. There are selection of shops on the main street of Kincardine O’Neil along with a direct bus route to a number of neighbouring villages. Kincardine O’Neil is the oldest village of the Royal Deeside but don’t underestimate this quaint wee village. Available on the Main Street there are several shops: The Village Shop: Convenience Store (including Post Office) serving hot and cold food. Arra Textiles: Weaving Art Studio offering unique knitwear. Treasures: An array of rocks and gemstones. Love Laura Lane: Cake heaven including coffee, waffles and ice cream.
